Context

The analysis was designed to inform onboarding and ongoing training for a new sales role managing a book of business, client conversations, consultative upsell opportunities, and daily tool use.

The project focuses on understanding what the role requires before building training. That includes business expectations, daily workflow, tools, customer conversation patterns, and the skills needed for success.

The connected Client Growth Consultant eLearning Prototype shows one example of bringing the content needs from this analysis to life as a finished learner-facing experience.

Analysis approach

  1. Interview role creators to clarify responsibilities, success criteria, client expectations, applications, and career progression.
  2. Job shadow current performers to observe daily structure, business reviews, tool usage, client pain points, objection handling, and project management habits.
  3. Map skills and competencies across Salesforce, Outlook, phone systems, compliance, consultative selling, conflict resolution, organization, multitasking, and analysis.
